Colombo - Kandy

Upon arrival at Colombo airport; our special vehicle will pick you & proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit:

  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

[About 90 KM from Colombo towards Kandy is the home to some 100 or more elephant orphans. It is a place you will enjoy and never forget. You can watch them.

  • Feeding at 9.15 am. 1.15 & 5.00 pm.
  • Bathing at 10.15.a.m and 2.15.am
  • Spice Garden

Is world-renowned for its valued spices and healing herbs. Our lush spice and herbal gardens feature many important herbs such as Sandalwood, Margosa, Cocoa, Citronella, Almond, Jasmine, and Coconut. When visiting us, make themost of the chance to experience first-hand how cloves, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and saffron are grown in their natural surroundings.

  • Kandy Cultural Show and Visit Kandy Temple

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) was originally built by the Kandyan Kings in 1595, to house and honor.

The sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Attracting crowds of white-clad pilgrims bearing lotus flowers as a means of worship, the Maligawa features a myriad of intricate carvings that speak volumes of the architectural values of Kandy.

The cultural dance which is a truly unique aspect of Sri Lanka, dressed in different costumes and drums highlights our rich culture and you will be able to catch a glimpse of it. Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

 After breakfast around 08:00am proceed to Kandy city Tour:

  • Upper Lake Drive
  • Market Crafts Centre & Gem Museum.

Later proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute visit:

  • Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya

This majestic botanical garden is 147 acres in extent and was started in1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy. There aremore than 5,000 species of trees, plants and creepers.

  • Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple

According to the legend, this is where Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles above and behind the temple. There is also said to be a pond – the Sita Tear Pond' - here, which was formed from Sita's tears. Visit Seetha Amman Temple Seetha Amman Temple the stream that runs from the hill, catered to the needs of Sita Devi during her stay at Ashok Vatika. She is said to have bathed in this stream. About a century ago three idols were discovered in the stream, one of which was that of Sita.

Explore the City of Nuwara Eliya

Visit the highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Nuwara Eliya – Udawalawa

  • For booking procedures, you will be required to pay 50% advance deposit at the time of booking. Balance payment for the above Package needs to be settled maximum 20 days prior to departure.

  • Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange can lead to an increase in the cost of surface transportation & other land arrangements, which can come into effect prior to departure, the difference will have to be paid by the passenger directly to T&T.
  • In case of non-availability of hotel, alternate options will be suggested which may involve increase in price.
  • In case where a guest along with his family is unable to join or continue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, flight/train delays or Cancellation no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services, his booking shall be treated as 'no show' on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.
  • Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
  • Any overstay expenses due to delay or change or cancellation in flight / Train will be on the passenger's own & TRAVEL AND TAPE will not be held liable for such expenses. However, we will help the best of our abilities.
  • Documentation: The passenger/s will not hold T&T, under any circumstances, liable or responsible for any refused / delayed documents and / or for any expenses incurred due to non- availability of visa and / or error in dates of visa granted, etc. In case of visa refusal, cancellation charges will be applicable as given.
  • The International Check-in time: - 1500 hrs. & check-out time is 1200 hrs.
